Configure the HDMI output Resolution for eMMC Ubuntu

There two method to configure the HDMI resolution, Configure it when you burn the system or Configure it when the system run

Configure the HDMI resolution when update the system

When you update the ubuntu into the eMMC flash in the UBUNTU_INSTALL folder, the INSTALL file as follow:

#!/bin/sh
/UBUNTU_INSTALL/eflasher -b superboot4412.bin -k zImage -c "root=/dev/mmcblk0p1 rootfstype=ext4 console=ttySAC0,115200n8 lcd=S70 skipcali=y ctp=2 video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60" -s rootfs.tar.gz

The video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60 is the resolution, you can changed it as your needs, if you need the 1280x720 resolution, you can edit the INSTALL file as follow:

#!/bin/sh
/UBUNTU_INSTALL/eflasher -b superboot4412.bin -k zImage -c "root=/dev/mmcblk0p1 rootfstype=ext4 console=ttySAC0,115200n8 lcd=S70 skipcali=y ctp=2 video=HDMI-A-1:1280x720@60" -s rootfs.tar.gz

 

Then run the sudo ./INSTALL, it will be update the system with the new resolution.
